Catherine Miller

Catherine Miller is a 2016-2017 CCC Graduate Student Fellow.

Catherine Miller is a Master’s candidate in the Department of City & Regional Planning at UNC Chapel Hill. Her research interests include housing affordability, economic mobility, and equity in communities. Prior to starting graduate school at UNC, she worked as a communications and membership coordinator at BEST NC, a business-led advocacy group focused on education policy in North Carolina. She also served as an AmeriCorps member with College Bound, a college access and completion program based in St. Louis, Missouri. Catherine earned her B.A. in history from Duke University, where she was named the Alumni Endowed Undergraduate Scholar for the class of 2012.


The UNC Center for Community Capital conducts research and policy analysis on ways to make financial services work better for more people and communities.
