Ashley Tucker

Ashley Tucker is a 2016-2017 CCC Graduate Student Fellow.

Ashley S. Tucker is a dual-degree student in the Master of City & Regional Planning and Master of Public Administration programs at UNC Chapel Hill. After graduating from The Winston-Salem State University in 2013, Ashley served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Rocky Mount-Edgecombe Community Development Corporation. She is a Kenan Institue Economic Development Analyst, focusing on applied economic development research projects in rural North Carolina. Ashley currently serves as a Student Leadership Council member for the Master of Public Administration program, as well as the Communications Chair for the UNC Chapel Hill student chapter of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA).


The UNC Center for Community Capital conducts research and policy analysis on ways to make financial services work better for more people and communities.
